After osut at fort benning can i still.....?

so i enlisted as an 11x and unfortunately could not get airborne but i was told that i may be able to volunteer during my time in training. so my question is if i do manage to get a slot at the school will there be a chance still in getting into the 82nd division or will my permanent duty station already be chosen.
