I was in the PA National Guard, I tore my knee up and got a medical discharge. Am I a disabled veteran.?

I was in the PANG when I was 19 years old. I tore the ligaments in my right knee when I was at benning for BT. Does this mean that I would be consider a disabled veteran. The reason I asked is for contract eligibility with the US Government.
